When you choose to use BlueNotary through our partnership, you can trust that your documents are notarized securely and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Eligible Document Types

With our notary services, you can notarize a wide range of document types, including but not limited to:

However, in Maryland, a notary cannot remotely notarize wills, trusts, or other estate planning documents that require witnesses. Additionally, a notary cannot serve as a witness for a Power of Attorney if the principal is located remotely. You would have to book a session for Traditional Notary Services.

  • Yes, ABPWS has partnered with the two Notary Publics for the state of Maryland.

  • No. The BlueNotary platform is specifically designed to comply with the requirements for notarized documents that are being used in the United States. The unique authentication process needed to use these documents in another country is not available for electronic documents.

  • Many documents can be notarized online, but some categories have special rules, limitations, or state‑specific requirements. These restrictions often apply to documents involving estate planning, real property, medical decisions, or government‑issued records. For more information on documents with unique restrictions, please contact us for confirmation.

  • No. We will only charge a fee for successful notarizations. If we are unable to process any document, the session will be terminated without any cost to you.

  • A single document can be notarized for $30. When a notary public is requested to notarize more than one copy of the same record, where the copy or copies have been signed at the same time by the same person or persons, the notary may demand and receive $8 for notarizing each signature on the original or first copy of the record, and may demand and receive $4 for each signature on each additional copy of the same record.
